Robert Tuchman is the President of Goviva and Founder and former president of TSE Sports & Entertainment. Tuchman gives us a recap of Tiger Woods at the Masters and some of the business takeaways from his appearance. Tiger’s new slogan with NIKE is “Winning takes care of everything.” Many fans and consumers are angry about this, and Tuchman explains why. Jason Collins is the first professional athlete in a major sport to come out of the closet. Certain big time sponsors will get behind Collins. Tuchman believes now is the time to market himself. Tuchman previously formed one of the largest sports specific hospitality and event companies in the United States. He discusses his new business, Goviva.
